Adidas' Phenom Fundamentals Camp is a skills development camp like no other in the country. We refer to it as boot camp because it is a basketball camp that concentrates on discipline, fundamentals and development!
Most camps today concentrate on exposure, we will throw the society of basketball camps back into an “old school” mode!
Our goal is to affect each camper’s life in a positive manner that will lead to positive affects in their life; lessons that will not only make them a knowledgable basketball player but a better person!
What does "Development" Mean to YOU?
Development, for the Fundamentals Camp staff, is one of the most important concepts that we undertake in our program. We will take the word "development" and turn it into something special, where not only will we teach you fundamental basketball skills for your basketball development, but we will go one step further. We will teach you LIFE LESSONS that will build upon the foundation of your character and further develop you to succeed in your life.
A Philosophy of Individualism
Phenom Fundamentals Camp's philosophy is to treat each player individually, to give you a comprehensive and detailed evaluation report card that can be taken home and used as a reminder for individual development throughout the year. This evaluation will detail your individual strengths & weaknesses and also give you solutions and ideas that will solve some of those weaknesses.
Program Intentions
This program is a rigorous one, not intended as a baby sitting service. This camp will rely on discipline, attitude and effort. The camper must be prepared to work as hard as he or she possibly can as soon as he/she arrives. We feel the number one vital component in success of the game of life is internal discipline! That is what we feel is lacking in the majority of every player with whom we come into contact. We will instill this SKILL of INTERNAL DISCIPLINE, not only as it relates to basketball, but as it relates to the game of life! Parents need to understand, your child will be a better person on and off the court and will absolutly have a blast during the process!!
